Why Research4You exists
Postgraduate research can become overwhelming when expectations are unclear, feedback is difficult to interpret and progress has to compete with work, family and everyday responsibilities.
Research4You was created to provide a structured space where researchers can work through those challenges with practical guidance, honest feedback and support that helps them build capability rather than dependency.
The goal is not to do the research for you. The goal is to help you become more confident in doing it yourself.
Meet Dr Sandra Steyn
Dr Sandra Steyn founded Research4You to provide practical, ethical and developmental support to postgraduate researchers. Her work focuses on helping researchers make sense of complex research processes, strengthen their methodological thinking and maintain progress throughout the postgraduate journey.
Her approach combines research expertise with structured guidance, honest feedback and a strong emphasis on researcher development. Rather than taking ownership of the research process away from the student, she works to strengthen the researcher’s ability to understand, decide and move forward independently.
